Hey I started a lot like you, whitetail hunting at 10 yrs. of age, 20 years late made the trip out west Elk and Mule Deer hunting. Hooked ever since. You smart to go ahead and apply for points now. Going after Antelope in WY is great way to start and learn things. Also being on this forum will get expose you to all kinds of info ! Enjoyed the picutures !

Welcome. I love the Rochester area. A good friend of mine lives and hunts there. We ussually make it down to the Wabasha area for ducks, and Rochester for geese a couple times each fall. Do you ever fish the Whitewater?

Not yet, but I have friends that fish it a fair bit. I probably will this spring if beaver trapping doesn't get in the way. I've been over there hunting coyotes and crows a few times. I haven't made it over to the river for ducks either. Ducks are my #1 passion but it has really been hard in rochester. Tons of geese, very few ducks.
