[QUOTE=packmule;85669]There are worse ways to kill time during the offseason. I was over 10" off on my initial gut feeling about him, body size threw me for a loop. QUOTE]

My initial impression was high 170's. Say 179ish. However, after digesting comments, especially ones from Packmule himself, I have revised my estimate as follows: 1) body must have turned out smaller than estimated when alive; 2) main beams and inside spread appear to be in the vicinity of 20". These two factors could diminish original estimate by 10-inches. My revised estimate is 169".

But what if his body was actually bigger than initial assumption and it's throwing off mass, spread and beams?

Then I think you might be looking at a solid mid and maybe upper 180's!

Not sure on official dry score. Went 191 the week of his photo session though. Deceptive deer, thought he was big bodied but didn't think that big. Found another one his size (body-wise) a cpl years later and it was the heaviest horned 2pt I'd ever laid eyes on.
