IMHO 4th season is one of the best no matter what unit it is, closest to the rut.

The right time is when you draw a tag!!

I have been hoping for moose also the last couple years but haven't been lucky either. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Couldn't agree more. I keep applying and figure I'll adjust my schedule to whatever I draw.

If you are applying for a specific tag, for example Unit 2, 10, 61, 201 for elk, you usually know if you are in the draw pool of not, until then you are just "waiting for the right time".

This year for me is hopefully "the right time".

I decided to burn my elk points this year so I am kind of hoping I don't draw moose or sheep so I can devote the time that the elk tag deserves. If I did draw the moose that would be a very easy hunt but the sheep would certainly complicate things. I don't know why I even send in for antelope because I really have no interest in hunting them anymore. Just habit I guess. Good luck to everyone in the draw.

Im applying for a very specific tag but it has taken 3-5 points the last few years, last year 1 applicant with 4 didnt draw, and I have 3. So whatever year i draw weather it is this year or takes 2 more will be the right time for me
