    I was referring to Washington "my side" as in the state I live in. You have to buy a general tag here to apply for a LE hunt. I dont apply in OR.

    That makes more sense. Wenaha on the Oregon side is widely considered the most desired and best elk hunt in Oregon.

    That area is considered a top area in WA too and typically takes over 10 points to draw. I just didnt think finding an elk in it would be so difficult.
