    Arrow ***Boot Lacing Techniques****

There were a few folks on another thread that wanted to see how I lace my boots, It was easier to do a video then trying to explain it in writing.

Remember this is by no way the end all way to lace boots!! This is just a technique that works for me. I think the key to this technique is the use of Sherpa knots. The Sherpa knots put equal pressure on two eyes or hooks at the same time then the double or triple overhand knot keeps everything locked in place. You will probably have to experiment on the location of the Sherpa with the double or triple overhand knots depending on how many hooks or eyes you have. Make sure to loosen the laces, smooth out the sock, set your heel in the boot before you lace the middle and upper part of the boot.

Sorry about being long winded in the video! Remember that this is what works for me but might help those that have a problem with setting the heel in place.

Feel free to comment and add your Technique to the thread.. Mark

Thanks Mark, definitely looks like a good technique I am going to have to try out. I sometimes get the foot jam while going down hill, so this should help out considerably. Thanks again!!!

I use a technique similar to that, that I learned from Lathrop and Sons (a sheet that came with my boots). I am definitely going to try that though, thanks!
