    Kryptek hunting clothing

    Forgive me if this has already been discussed.

    I am looking into getting some new back country hiking/hunting clothing. Kryptek has crossed my path, so I am looking into getting some. I really want something that is lite weight, breathable, durable, flexible and some water resistant properties (until technology advances tremendously I do not want to wear "waterproof" gear exclusively as the durability and breathability are not quite there IMO).

    I am a back pack type hunter, sometimes I overnight it and sometimes I hike upwards to 10 miles plus for a day hunt.

    Has anyone had any experience with any of their lines?

    Great question. I am also interested in the gear line. I agree with you on water proof gear as well.

    Right now I am looking at the Valhalla line for early season hunting and warmer days for antelope, spring turkey, and early season whitetail.

    But I would really like a warmer top layer for mid to late Oct hunting in WY/MT, so the Dalibor and Cadog have caught my attention. However, I really cannot find a difference in them and the Alaios line looks more like a good combo of warmth/flexibility for an array of temps that you might encounter in the Oct season.

    I bought a full set this last fall. I really like their stuff. I like their pattern better than others out there now. I think it blends better. I think it's worth the money and would recommend it after getting it myself.

    For reference, I have used the Koldo pants and jacket, Kratos vest and jacket, Alaios pants, Kalamata top, and Valhalla pants are on their way. Any questions about those pieces i will gladly answer.
