    Hellooo I am ... something

Well I suppose I had better go through this and introduce myself like ScottR said with a handshake or something like that. I am from Gillette, WY. I have lived in most areas of Wyoming and have family in every corner it seems like. I have also worked/lived in Montana, Oregon, and Washington but never long enough to lose my Wyoming residency (thank heavens). I am not sure why I skipped over Idaho, that might be coming along, though.

We have an eleven year old boy who will be 12 October 9th, so that will be exciting for the first year big game hunting. We are working on getting proficient with the old hand-me down 30-06. We also have have two spoiled puppies, and a chinchilla.

Well, I have been enjoying the site, learned lots, and I have probably annoyed some people already. I guess that goes with the territory. Well thanks for the good site. I say "well" a lot, too.

Welcome! Lots of good folks around. Is your boy hunting this season? That's more pressure than your own hunt!

thanks folks. I couldn't remember if I did this and then I saw all the things saying you should.

Hardstalk, we are going to try this year. He has been tagging along a little and seems to like it. Hopefully we can get him comfortable with the gun. He is doing pretty well from the bench so far. We need to build up some biceps and get the poundage up for archery hunting. I know what you mean about more pressure. I really want to find a good spot and get him hooked. Then in a couple of years I will have my own pack mule. I'll have to remember you for when he is gearing up and looking for optics.

    Welcome!!!!
"Now two flags fly above my land that really sum up how I fee. One is the colors that fly high and proud The red, the white, the blue. The other one's got a rattlesnake With a simple statement made "Don't tread on me" is what it says and I'll take that to my grave. Because this is me. I'm proud to be American and strong in my beliefs. And I've said it before but I'll say it again 'Cause my family's always fought and died to save this land. And a country boy is all I'll ever be."
