I am new to archery and just picked up a mathews black max 2 to play around with. It came with a sight and rest i just need to get a release. I have no idea what to get. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

The Spot Hogg Wiseguy release is awesome IMO... It has a super fine trigger adjust, rigid machined body to inhibit anchor point variances and it folds back out of the way while glassing... You should go try one... I was a scott guy for years but this release is sweet!

Wiseguy is my release of choice now also. Scott's are also great releases as well.

Carter Rx1 is my best release. Crisp trigger and zero travel.
