Just received my notice from the state of New Mexico, I'm hunting bulls in unit 45

Wow, I am excited. My partner and I drew our thrid choice, unit 45, October 22 - October 26. I have been looking forward to this for a while.

Last year there was no big game hunting, only managed to get in four waterfowl hunts in January. I fought tongue and neck cancer throughout most of 2010. Before the duck hunts in January was thinking aI may never get to hunt again, but what do I know.

I am stoked. Got plenty of time for scouting. Will probably head that way in August and whould be able to show up 7 - 10 days before the hunt starts. I am one excited hunter today.
