    I have been considering the W.W. in .270wsm as a western rifle. IIRC, they have a bedding-block and a fair trigger.

    I have the Savage WW .300WSM. I love the gun. I just sold my Tikka 22-250 so I could get a 22-250 in the WW. It's on order and I should have it this week.

    I had that rifle in 270 WSM a while back. I also had a model 70 in 270 WSM. Both torched the throats in under 1500 rounds. Other than that they were both tons of fun to shoot, and accounted for a couple of elk each.

    What would you guys pick between a 25 06 or a 243?

    Since I don't reload and have to buy manufactured ammo, I went with .243. Much more abundant and easier to find most everywhere.
