Here are some pictures from our pack trip in 2010.
The picture of the buck is my friends.
With 4 hunters we only brought home 2 bucks.
We had a good time though and covered lots of ground.

We went in from the Bear Wallow trail head. Camped close to the guard station and hiked our butts off all over that country. 7 plus days we only saw 3 bucks (the night before the season ended) a few does around a dozen cows 3 bulls and 4 other hunters (on the main trails). I think the wolves and or cougars may have played a factor in the numbers? Next time I will bring a nicer camera and take a lot more pictures.

It is a great place to go for a hike, more sheep and goats in that country than deer.
