    Still think there isnt a Dead spot above the lungs?

    This buck was shot in Wisconsin this past gun season. 2 weeks later Scott got a picture of the buck. And you could see right through him!! Amazing how deer can survive.

    I find this pretty hard to believe... you sure it wasn't photo shopped? I have shot several deer in this exact spot and took out both lungs. Shot with a rifle, there should have been enough static shock to rupture both lungs even if it somehow missed hitting them... I don't want to call anyone a liar and maybe I'm wrong but it sure looks a bit unbelievable.

    I was thinking it was maybe shot with a shotgun slug or muzzle loader. No way a deer takes hit in that area from a high velocity bulllet.

    Hmmm. I might be a believer if the animal didn't look so healthy otherwise...deer are tough critters. Interesting photo at any rate!
