    I hit a deer with my ML right bellow his spine just behind the shoulder (very close to this supposid dead spot) and it took out his spine and both lungs and he never even kicked (well not that I could see after the smoke cleared anyways).

    Bullet shock is a bit more helpful than a 400 grain arrow zipping through a little further back...
