    Units 004/441 Elk Question

Hey everyone. I'm going to be doing a first season archery hunt on a ranch in these 2 units early Sep. I was just wondering if anyone has seen the bulls in those units this year and what the growth is looking like. This will be my first rut elk hunt and I'm just trying to get an idea of what to expect! Thanks in advance. Pics would be greatly appreciated too.

Are you hunting a RFW ranch. If so which one...I am just asking to see about what area you would be in?

Doubt if its a RFW tag as they are available for Colorado residents only.

You can still hunt a RFW ranch as a non-resident. You have to buy a tag/hunt from the ranch. Although you are half correct non-residents can't draw RFW tags.

Also, great unit and should be lots of elk running around. Those units are part of the second largest elk herd in Colorado. What ranch are you hunting? Good luck and have fun.
