    We head in from the Big Sandy trailhead which is in the Mid to Southern half of the area. It's the highest entrance into the Wind Rivers. There's definitely a fair amount of elk in there but as I had stated earlier, in the last several years with the oil & gas boom, it's grown quite crowded. I've also hunted out of the Scab Creek trailhead and seen a fair amount of elk as well.

    Thanks again 307! One last question, Looking at the map on fish and game website, do you know if the hunting is anygood around buckhorn or eighteen mile canyon?
