    CA early season hunting!

Headed up friday after work and only seen 8 does and 2 fawns. Saturday morning more of the same and then we spotted two bucks. After watching them for about 2 hours they finally bed. We head over to them and before we got there taking a break in the shade of a bush I look up to see a buck walking right to us. We stop and I have my cuz range him as he gets closer and closer. When he steps into a clearing I give him a Will Primos "Mmmaaannnntttt" and he stops in his tracks, I settle my pin and release, good shot and we tracked him down shortly there after.

Nice work. I stalked a number of bucks and then had high 120's 4x4 jump my string at 50 this morning. I shot and he went full on belly to ground instantly! He had no idea I was there either. Next time I get on him at that range I'm holding low for sure.

Anyway, congrats on a nice 3 pointer!

Thanks BOHNTR! A wise man once said that success comes from making the one shot count!
Practicing for that one shot I truly believe made it happen for me saturday morning.
