Eastmans DON’T Hunt Behind Fences!
Jun 19 2006Not these Eastmans any how. It has been brought to my attention that there is a group of individuals and organizations in this industry that are trying to start a bowhunting competition behind high fences with tranquilizer darts. I just want to let everyone out there know once and for all, that we (Eastmans’ Publishing) have absolutely no part in this, sure to be hunting and PR debacle. We, the Wyoming Eastmans have never, would never, and will never hunt behind a high fence under any circumstances. Nor would we ever knowingly sponsor any such event.
There is another company in the hunting industry with the name Eastman (no connection to us). Please do not confuse the two organizations and you can be rest assured that these Eastmans still have their feet planted firmly in the ethics of “Fair Chase” hunting.
Thank you for your time and let me know if you have any further questions or need more clarification regarding this issue.

New Building
Jun 15 2006New places, new faces and a muzzleloader deer tag? Yep you read it right! I have finally drawn my Colorado deer tag out on the eastern plains. For those of you who watch the TV show I have been out there quite a little bit over the past few years chasing those big bucks around with bow in hand. I have yet to score on one of those brutes, but this year will be my big chance to finally get out there with a firearm and see what happens. As some of you may have heard, I have had pretty good luck in the past on muzzleloader mule deer hunts and with any luck maybe that will hold for just one more year.
