    Brief Answer: The MRS provides hunters every unit, every big game species, every insider tip. Covering 11 Western states with over 198 pages, Eastmans' invests over 2,000 Research hours to bring you all the western hunting information you need to be successful. The MRS is only available in Member Issues (not included with newsstand issues)

    Detailed Answer: The MRS is a databank of western hunting knowledge by state, featuring unit-by-unit breakdowns of draw odds and harvest success rates (color coded unit guide)

    Eastmans' offers two big journals in print and digital formats:

  • 5. What is the cost of a Membership renewal?

    The cost of a renewal membership is the same as a new membership. The new membership will be added to the end of a current membership.

  • 6. When will I receive my first issue?

    Receipt of your first journal is dependent upon your membership date and the journal print schedule (see table). The mailing date will generally be within 3 to 8 weeks of your membership date.

    Each of our journals are bi-monthly publications. If you are a member of either the Hunting Journal or Bowhunting Journal, you will receive an issue every other month (6 issues per year). If you are a member of both journals, you will receive one journal each month.

  • 7. Why have I received one journal, but not other?

    Our EHJ and EBJ journals are bimonthly publications. You will generally receive your first issue within 3 and 8 weeks of your membership or renewal date.

    If you are a combo member, meaning that you are a member of both the EHJ and EBJ journals, you will receive an issue each month.

    If you are a single issue member, meaning that you are a member of either EHJ or EBJ (not both), you will receive one journal every other month.

  • 8. Why am I missing journals?

    Let's check a few items:

    1. Is your membership current?
      • If yes, go to item 2.
      • If no, please renew your membership. We'll be happy to start your membership to include the journals you have missed.
    2. Have you just renewed or become a new member?
      • Receipt of your first journal is dependent upon your membership date and the journal print schedule (see table). The mailing date will generally be between 3 and 8 weeks.
    3. Have you moved?
      • If yes, please update your information with us.
      • If no, go to item 4.
    4. Has it been 30-days since the release of the issue in question?
      • If yes, we will gladly mail you a replacement issue.
      • If no, we kindly ask to allow 30-days in the mail process.

  • 10. How do I get entered into the FREE Hunt Drawings?

    Eastmans' FREE Hunt Drawings are available to members only. EHJ (Eastmans' Hunting Journal) members are automatically entered into the FREE Mule Deer hunt drawing scheduled each February.

    EBJ (Eastmans' Bowhunting Journal) members are automatically entered into the FREE Elk hunt drawing scheduled to draw each August.

    Combo members are automatically entered into both drawings. In addition, you may earn additional entries with each gift membership you purchase. The gift recipient is automatically entered too!

  • 11. How do I login to the MRS?

    All members can access the online MRS through the Eastmans' website, eastmans.com. You are required to enter your member number and zip code for access. Your six-digit member number is always printed above your name on all address labels on print material received from Eastmans'. Access will immediately take you to a membership status screen, just scroll down for current and past year MRS downloadable files.

    The Auto Renewal program is available to all members and we'll send you a FREE GIFT every year you're enrolled. To enroll, just call the Eastmans' Customer Service department during regular business hours, or simply check the "Auto Renewal" option on most Eastmans' print material, provide a valid credit card number and expiration date, and we'll take care of the rest.

Annually, Eastmans' will send you an e-mail notification before the start of each new membership term, so you know exactly when your credit card account will be charged.     You can call Eastmans' Customer Service at any time, or you can submit your change of address on our website at http://www.eastmans.com/change-address.html. On the home page, scroll to the bottom. On the far right Customer Service column, click on the Change Address line.

    We guarantee your satisfaction with our publications. If you choose or need to cancel your membership for any reason, we'll refund the remaining portion of your membership.

    Our apologies. We must have pulled our mailing list prior to the receipt of your membership renewal. Thank you for promptly renewing your membership.

    Also note, if the member was previously a combo member and changed to a single publication membership, they will receive renewal notices for the dropped publication.
