Thousands of hunters venture afield every year on a quest for success. But what is success? To fill the freezer? That’s a piece of cake. Doe/fawn tags are readably available. A trophy entry into the record books? This iconic prize is on every hunter’s bucket list. An enjoyable adventure with friends and family? By far the most valuable of all. I would bet we all hope for a combination of each of these in our definitions of success. Yet the question remains, to what extent are we willing to go in order to make it all come together?
