Well here we are once again, on the threshold of a new hunting season. We are busying ourselves with acquiring new gear, scouting familiar and new terrain and giving little attention to our rifle. Let’s face it, who wants to go to the range when the dog days of summer aren’t even close to winter‘s kennel? If you were one of the lucky few that acquired a new boomstick this summer, good on you! I just couldn’t convince my wife that I needed another rifle. Maybe next year.
