Issue 116: Proper Boot Care
With that mantra in mind, I was dipping my fingers into a tub of leather treatment that revitalized a badly abused pair of leather upper, full-rand Zamberlan boots. They have treated me well, and I want to get as much life out of them as possible. As I write this, I am taking one more mad dash trip south to my favorite deer spot with the intention of harvesting a 180 or better buck. The snow has fallen above 10,000 feet, and my boots need to treat me well. In this Gear Lab, I will cover three boot treatment or water proofing options that will help you preserve the life on your hard-earned boots, help you break in the leather and ultimately keep the water off your feet!
