Issue 117: Building A Killer Hunting Bow
What a season I have had, filled with great adventures and thrilling encounters. To guys like us, it doesn’t get any better than making plays on trophy western game with our bow in our hands. Those encounters and opportunities are so hard earned. I may have hiked hundreds of miles, climbed thousands of vertical feet and belly crawled for a half a mile to get one chance to bend the limbs. The one thing I have to trust is that my bow is absolutely dialed. Any successful hunt comes down to making a shot. Now, you do your job, but there is nothing better than a fine-tuned, forgiving bow setup that holds and shoots lights out. Hike around with confidence in the mountains next season, knowing your bow is set up right from start to finish.
